Fun-Lugha aims to be the one stop language shop not only in Tanzania, but in the whole of Africa and internationally as well. Whatever your language requirement, speak to us and you are as good as sorted! We aim to cover as many languages as they exist and at the moment we’ve got most frequently used international languages covered (Swahili, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese etc). We also provide a good number of African languages such as Luganda, Kikuyu, Chaga, Xhosa etc-these can be provided on special request. The services we provide include (but are not limited to):

Language Tuition

We provide experienced private language tutors for individual and corporate clients. These tutors will come to the client’s location of choice and can teach during weekdays and weekends as well. Click on the All Service Providers link whereby you can choose tutors that fit your requirements (language/s offered, nationality and location). As much as possible, we make sure to cater to any other requirements you may have regarding the tutor, eg. prices, gender, age, availability, previous experience, qualifications and much more-as these are all reflected on the tutors’ profiles. If you’d rather work with a native tutor then use the nationality drop down menu to pick eg. If you prefer a Tanzanian Swahili tutor then choose accordingly. Your wish is our command!

If you need to contact any tutor/s you may do so via the contact me link found at the bottom of their profile. Kindly note that no personal information (phone number, email, physical address, website address, company’s name etc) should not be exchanged at this point. This information will be released by Fun-Lugha once you have officially agreed to hire a particular tutor and you have both paid your service fees. Translation

We provide Translation services for different clients including local & international organizations as well as private individuals. We can translate official documents, website content, contracts etc. So far we have been involved in over 100 different translation projects for 1 time as well repeat clients. We can translate general as well as technical content and we always deliver on time-in fact we always strive to submit our projects before the actual agreed deadline as much as possible.

Interpretation

We provide interpretation services at different events including local and international conferences and meetings. Just tell us what you require and we can take care of not only providing interpreters for your event but we can also provide conference equipment (interpretation booths, microphones, headsets etc) as well as the actual location for the event (conference/meeting hall). We also serve individual clients such as tourists and researchers.

Should you require our interpretation services, contact us and tell us more about the type of event , the number of interpreters required (minimum of 2 interpreters per each language pair), language pairs required as well as any other requirements you may have besides the actual interpreters (eg. event location, equipment etc).

Transcription

When you need to put into paper audio or video content, look no further than us. We provide Transcription services for different clients including local & international organizations. We transcribe audio as well as video content which may include recorded conversations, interviews, speeches etc.

Proofreading & Editing

Researchers, students, writers etc may need to ensure all those typos, spelling mistakes and the general use of grammar in their materials is in good order. They may also need to ensure they keep to the required word limit without losing the essence of their work. We can proofread and edit your work to ensure only the top grades for you!

Video Subtitling/Captioning

We can transcribe, translate and add subtitles to videos of any length and covering any subject. Should you only require us to add subtitles/captions we are happy to do that as long as you provide us with the actual transcription.

Rapporteuring

During conferences and meetings you may require the services of a rapporteur (note taker) to make sure nothing important is missed by recording all the happenings for future records.
